NSL20 57 x 55mm Aluminium Stair Nosing – External Grade is a heavy-duty, DDA compliant profile designed for external commercial and industrial environments where enhanced slip resistance is essential. Manufactured from high-quality AA6063 T6 aluminium in a robust 3mm gauge, this profile is fitted with an External Grade Tredsafe® anti-slip insert for superior performance in wet and dry conditions.

The Tredsafe® insert is manufactured from a specialist blend of P.V.C., silica quartz and polymeric plasticiser, creating a homogeneous, hard-wearing anti-slip surface. Its distinctive three-dimensional pyramid pattern delivers excellent slip resistance underfoot, making it ideal for exposed staircases, entrance steps and high-traffic outdoor areas.

With a 57mm tread and 55mm riser, the NSL20 provides clear step edge definition while supporting compliance with DDA and Building Regulations. The profile is designed to meet the recommendations of BS8300:2009+A1:2010, helping to improve accessibility and reduce slip risk in public buildings.
