The NHD24 60 x 55mm Aluminium Stair Nosing with External Grade Tredsafe® Insert is a heavy-duty stair edge protection profile specifically designed for external and high-traffic environments. Manufactured from durable aluminium and fitted with a high performance Tredsafe® anti-slip insert, this profile provides excellent traction and long-term protection for stair edges.

The NHD24 rakeback stair nosing is engineered with a 5mm gauge. Its robust aluminium channel protects step edges from wear and impact while improving stair visibility and safety.

The Tredsafe® insert is manufactured from a specialised blend of PVC, silica quartz and polymeric plasticiser, producing a homogeneous and extremely durable anti-slip surface. The insert incorporates a three dimensional pyramid pattern which delivers excellent slip resistance in both wet and dry conditions, making it ideal for outdoor staircases and exposed environments.

Designed to help meet accessibility requirements, the NHD24 60 x 55mm stair nosing is manufactured in accordance with the recommendations of BS8300:2009+A1:2010 and supports compliance with DDA guidance by improving step definition and slip resistance.
