The NHD24 60 x 55mm Aluminium Stair Nosing is a heavy-duty profile designed for use in demanding commercial and industrial environments. Manufactured from high quality aluminium, this rakeback profile incorporates a durable coloured PVC anti-slip insert to improve step visibility and provide reliable traction underfoot.

The NHD profile range is engineered to accommodate carpet and similar floor coverings thanks to its 5mm gauge design, making it suitable for a wide range of flooring installations. Its robust construction helps protect stair edges from damage while improving safety for building users.

Designed with accessibility and safety in mind, the NHD24 stair nosing meets the recommendations of BS8300:2009+A1:2010 and helps projects comply with DDA guidance by providing clear visual step definition and enhanced slip resistance.

The aluminium extrusion is produced from AA6063 aluminium alloy and can be supplied in mill finish or alternative finishes if required. Stock lengths are typically available in 2.46m, 2.77m and 3.22m with a variety of insert colours available to suit different flooring environments and contrast requirements.

Ideal for use in commercial buildings, offices, retail spaces, public buildings and industrial staircases, the NHD24 60 x 55mm stair nosing provides long-lasting protection, improved slip resistance and a professional finish for stair installations.

Dimensions may vary by up to ±5mm in line with supplier manufacturing tolerances.

Anti Slip Stair Nosing Aluminium 60 x 55mm NHD24

Ensure the stair surface is clean, dry, level and free from debris.
If the nosing is pre-drilled, place it in position and mark the fixing hole locations.
Drill and plug the marked fixing points on the step.
Apply a suitable construction adhesive to the underside of the stair nosing.
Position the nosing on the step edge and secure with appropriate screws.
Insert the PVC anti-slip insert or insert strip to conceal the fixings and complete the installation.
