The CAT AC82 Aluminium Cover Plate is a premium quality 82mm wide floor cover strip designed to bridge adjoining floor finishes while allowing for natural expansion and movement between surfaces. Manufactured from durable Aluminium Alloy 6063 T6, the AC82 provides a clean, low-profile transition suitable for both commercial and domestic flooring installations.

With a 2.5mm gauge and a smooth ramped edge reducing to 1.0mm, this aluminium threshold plate helps minimise trip hazards while delivering a neat and professional finish between floor coverings.

The AC82 can be supplied undrilled with Stick Fix double sided adhesive tape pre-applied for quick non-mechanical installation, or alternatively centre drilled for size 8 screw fixing where a mechanical fixing method is preferred. Off-centre drilling is also available upon request.

Suitable for heavy contract environments including hotels, offices, schools, pubs, shops and public buildings, the AC82 is also ideal for high-quality residential projects.
