AN61 Aluminium Stair Nosing is a premium 5mm gauge, raked-back, single-channel stair nosing designed to provide durable edge protection and enhanced step definition in commercial and residential environments.

Manufactured from Aluminium Alloy 6063 T6, the AN61 features a 62mm tread and 32mm nose, delivering excellent coverage and long-lasting performance. Supplied cut to size up to 3200mm maximum length, it is suitable for a wide range of stair installations.

The AN61 is available in a range of finishes, including Black Anodised, as well as Bronze and Light Bronze options within our Designer Collection – ideal where the aesthetic of aged brass is desired without the premium cost. Matching flooring trims are also available within the Designer Home Collection.

Choose from a variety of high-performance infill options including:

The AN61 is designed for use with carpet and carpet tiles and can also be rebated into timber steps for a flush finish.

Is the AN61 suitable for external use?

Yes, when specified as the AN61 GRP version with glass-fibre reinforced plastic insert for enhanced slip resistance in wet or outdoor areas.

What is the maximum length available?

The AN61 is supplied cut to size up to a maximum length of 3200mm.

What traffic level is this stair nosing suitable for?

It is recommended for low to medium traffic environments. For heavy-duty applications, the Mill Aluminium GRP version is advised.
