The Genesis CAR Aluminium Carpet Tile Edge Profile provides a clean, professional finish wherever a carpet tile meets another floor covering. Designed for quick installation with or without mechanical fixings, this profile is suitable for both commercial and domestic flooring applications.

Manufactured from high-grade AA 6063 T6 aluminium, the CAR profile offers durability, stability and easy maintenance. Its 6mm height and 28.5mm width allow it to neatly finish exposed carpet tile edges, preventing fraying while improving safety and aesthetics.

The profile is supplied in 2.5m lengths and can be installed using adhesive or screws, making it ideal for refurbishments and new installations alike.

Ensure the installation surface is clean and free from contamination.
Measure and cut the profile to the required length.
Apply adhesive to the underside of the profile or position for mechanical fixing.
Place the profile in its final location and apply pressure along the full length to ensure full adhesion.
Do not reposition once the initial bond has taken place.

Yes, AA 6063 T6 aluminium offers strong corrosion resistance, though adhesive and grout residue should be removed to prevent alkaline reaction.

Each CAR profile is manufactured in a standard 2.5m length.
