The NSL26 External Aluminium Stair Nosing is a DDA compliant rake-back stair nosing designed for external staircases and demanding environments where enhanced slip resistance is required. The profile features a durable aluminium channel with a specialist Tredsafe® anti-slip insert, providing excellent traction in both wet and dry conditions.

With a 67 x 55mm ramp-back profile, the NSL26 is ideal for installations where no floor coverings or resilient flooring are used. The rake-back design provides a smooth transition across the step edge while clearly defining the step for improved safety and accessibility.

The Tredsafe® insert is manufactured from a specially formulated blend of P.V.C., silica quartz and polymeric plasticiser, creating a hard-wearing, homogeneous anti-slip surface. Its distinctive three-dimensional pyramid pattern enhances grip and delivers reliable slip resistance in both wet and dry environments, making it ideal for outdoor stairs exposed to weather.

The aluminium profile is supplied in a Mill finish as standard, with anodised and powder-coated finishes available on request. Designed for commercial and public buildings, the NSL26 external stair nosing helps improve step visibility and safety while meeting accessibility guidance.
