NSL02 Tredsafe® Aluminium Stair Nosing is a slimline rakeback profile engineered for demanding commercial and industrial environments where enhanced slip resistance is essential. Manufactured from durable 3mm gauge aluminium (AA 6063 T6), this profile is designed for installation with vinyl, linoleum and medium carpet floor coverings.

With a 57mm tread and 32mm riser configuration. The NSL02 provides strong edge definition and robust step protection. The profile is designed with DDA and Building Regulations accounted for and meets the guidance set out in BS8300:2009+A1:2010, making it suitable for public buildings, retail, healthcare and education environments.

The External Grade Tredsafe® insert delivers exceptional slip resistance performance. Classified as R11 under DIN 51130:2010. Tredsafe® provides reliable grip in both wet and dry conditions. Pendulum testing shows strong performance in both dry and wet environments.

Tredsafe® is manufactured from a specialist blend of PVC, silica quartz and polymeric plasticiser, creating a homogeneous, hard-wearing anti-slip surface. Its distinctive three-dimensional pyramid pattern enhances underfoot traction, while a polyurethane coating helps reduce dirt retention and maintain performance over time.
