The NHD08 Aluminium Stair Nosing 71 x 55mm is a heavy-duty bullnose profile designed for demanding commercial and industrial stair applications. Manufactured from high quality aluminium and fitted with a durable anti-slip PVC insert, this profile enhances both stair safety and step visibility in high traffic environments.

The NHD08 profile is engineered with a 5mm gauge aluminium channel, making it suitable for installation with carpet or similar floor coverings. The bullnose design provides a smooth rounded leading edge while delivering excellent durability and slip resistance, ideal for environments such as offices, retail spaces, schools, healthcare facilities and public buildings.

Available with a wide selection of coloured PVC inserts, the NHD08 enables designers and contractors to achieve strong visual contrast in line with accessibility requirements. This helps improve stair safety and assists users with visual impairments.

The profile has been developed to comply with the guidance of BS8300:2009+A1:2010 and relevant building regulations for accessible stair design.

The NHD08 71 x 55mm stair nosing forms part of the Genesis heavy duty commercial nosing range and is manufactured from high grade aluminium alloy 6063, ensuring long term performance and reliability in demanding installations.

Dimensions may vary by up to ±5mm in line with supplier manufacturing tolerances.

Anti Slip Stair Nosing Aluminium 71 x 55mm NHD08

Installation Instructions:

Ensure the stair substrate is clean, dry, level and free from debris.
If the profile is pre-drilled, position the nosing and use the holes to mark drilling locations.
Drill the step and insert suitable wall plugs if required.
Apply a suitable construction adhesive to the underside of the nosing.
Position the stair nosing on the step edge and secure using appropriate countersunk screws.
If the insert is supplied separately, press the PVC insert firmly into the channel to conceal fixings.

Ensure all inserts are clean and dry before allowing foot traffic.
