The NHD07 Aluminium Stair Nosing 70 x 40mm is a heavy-duty bullnose profile designed for demanding commercial and industrial environments. Manufactured from high quality aluminium extrusion (AA6063), the NHD07 provides long lasting durability while improving stair safety through a coloured anti-slip PVC insert.

This profile is designed for installations where carpet or similar floor coverings are used and features a 5mm gauge construction, making it suitable for heavy foot traffic areas such as schools, hospitals, retail spaces and public buildings.

The bullnose front edge of the NHD07 enhances visibility and step edge definition while improving durability on staircases. It is designed with DDA considerations and building regulations in mind, helping specifiers and installers achieve compliant stair safety installations.

Manufactured to meet the requirements of BS8300:2009+A1:2010 guidance, the NHD07 stair nosing improves stair safety by increasing step visibility and slip resistance while protecting stair edges from wear.

The aluminium profile is supplied in standard lengths and can also be cut to size or anodised on request to suit specific project requirements.

The NHD range offers a variety of insert colours to provide visual contrast and slip resistance for improved stair safety in busy environments.

Dimensions may vary by up to ±5mm in line with supplier manufacturing tolerances.

Anti Slip Stair Nosing Aluminium 70 x 40mm NHD07

Ensure the stair surface is clean, dry and free from debris.
If the profile is pre-drilled, position the nosing and mark the fixing points.
Drill the stair tread at the marked locations and insert suitable wall plugs.
Apply a suitable adhesive to the underside of the stair nosing.
Position the NHD07 nosing and secure using appropriate screws.
Install the PVC insert or insert strip to conceal the fixings.
