Genesis KSO is a flexible PVC sit-on skirting/coving designed to deliver
maximum performance, durability and low maintenance in demanding environments. Ideal for
high-traffic areas such as hospital corridors, schools and other commercial spaces,
the KSO profile provides a neat, hygienic transition between the wall and floor.

Available in 100mm or 150mm heights with a 17mm or 20mm lip, the 100mm version
can also be supplied in 15m coils to reduce the number of vertical joints
and improve installation efficiency.

Manufactured from high-quality PVC, the skirting offers excellent chemical resistance and is
suited for resilient floor coverings including vinyl, linoleum and antistatic materials.

Straight Length Installation

Draw a pencil line on the wall to mark the height of the skirting.
Apply contact adhesive up to the pencil line and allow it to tack.
Press the skirting into the adhesive, keeping the toe evenly spaced from the wall.

Internal Corners

Fix the first piece of skirting to one wall, leaving the toe un-mitred.
Scribe the vertical section of the second piece and mark a 45° mitre on the toe.
Cut and chamfer the underside to ensure a tight fit.
Stick the second piece to the toe of the first piece.

External Corners

Extend each piece past the corner and mark toe positions on the floor.
Draw a line from the corner to the intersection of the marks to determine the mitre angle.
Transfer mitre lines to the profile and cut following the guide marks.
Prepare, cut and fix the first piece with adhesive.
Overlap the second piece, mark the toe point, cut accordingly and install.
If needed, gently heat the skirting to form wrap-around corners.

What heights are available?

KSO is available in 100mm and 150mm heights, with 17mm or 20mm lips. The 100mm version is also available in 15m coils.

Is the KSO easy to maintain?

Yes. Regular brushing and cleaning with a pH-neutral solution is recommended, while harsh chemicals, degreasers and polishes should be avoided.
