Cut the profile to the required length with a hacksaw.
Position the profile centrally over the floor join where the carpets will meet.
Mark the positions of the fixing holes using the pre-formed slots.
Drill pilot holes if required depending on subfloor material.
Screw or nail the profile securely in place before laying any carpet.
Install each carpet section, stretching and hooking the edges onto the gripper spikes on both sides of the profile.
