The AR10 DHC Aluminium Ramp Profile is designed to provide a durable and professional transition between floor coverings installed at different levels. The ramped design protects floor edges whilst reducing trip hazards in both commercial and residential environments.

Manufactured from premium 6063 T6 aluminium, the profile features a 10mm internal height and a 38mm visible surface width when installed. It is particularly suitable for transitions between stone, timber, laminate, LVT and other hard flooring materials.

This version is supplied pre-drilled through the horizontal surface for mechanical fixing using size 6 screws. Mechanical fixing provides a secure and long-lasting installation, making it ideal for higher traffic areas. Matching screws are only available in Bright and Designer Satin finishes.

Suitable for medium to heavy contract environments including hotels, schools, shops, offices, cafés and public buildings, whilst also providing a premium finish for domestic projects. The profile is manufactured from recyclable aluminium and is 100% recyclable at suitable disposal facilities.

Dimensions may vary by up to ±5mm in line with supplier manufacturing tolerances.

Installation – Screw Fix Version

Ensure the subfloor is clean, dry and structurally sound.
Position the profile in its final location and use the pre-drilled fixing holes as a guide to mark the substrate.
Remove the profile and drill the marked positions using a suitable drill bit for the substrate.
Insert appropriate wall plugs where required.
Position the profile and secure using suitable No. 6 countersunk screws. Do not overtighten.
Where fitting carpet, trim the carpet edge neatly and tuck it into the naplock section, ensuring the gripper securely retains the carpet.
Check that the profile is firmly fixed and sits level against both floor coverings.

Profiles are supplied with a protective film applied to the visible surface. Leave this in place until all installation work has been completed.
